The Incidental Tarot - "A posse ad esse" From possibility to actuality

Nine of Oaks

A majestic oak tree is adorned with a crown of leaves and golden acorns, with a single acorn in resting in its branches. The Nine of Oaks is a card of fruition and contentment; long-term investments of time and labor have fully matured to a prosperous stage. It represents a crowning achievement, a sense of deep accomplishment and security. This card hearkens us back to our roots, reminding us to cherish loved ones and truly appreciate all that we have worked for. The Nine of Oaks indicates a time to celebrate with family and community, and to share some aspect of your wealth with the world you live in.

Reversed: The Nine of Oaks reversed can represent a reversal of fortune to some degree, the crumbling of security, debt or illness. There is a kind of uprooting associated with this card reversed, a humbling and submissive transition.
