The Incidental Tarot - "A posse ad esse" From possibility to actuality

Five of Quills

A jumble of different colored quills have fallen onto an ink-stained parchment. A clash of wills has occurred and though one of these emerges victorious, it is not without sacrifice. The Five of Quills represents discord, frustration, and disillusionment. Through the selfish actions of many, the singular aim of a community is diminished. The victor will have trouble rallying forces to his side when those he seeks to win over are still nursing their wounds and bruised egos. This results in plans not materialized, and a feeling of discontent over all involved.

Reversed: Harmonious resolution of disparate wills, brilliant new ideas from the cooperation of colleagues, plans finally falling into place.
