The Incidental Tarot - "A posse ad esse" From possibility to actuality

Seven of Quills

Four red tipped quills form a cross over a rolled parchment, which in turn lies over three white quills. The Seven of Quills indicates a situation where trickery or guile is at work. There are subtle layers of deception here that must be unraveled; the truth is guarded on both sides and the querent must look beyond the surface to find what is hidden. Do not listen to opposing parties in a quarrel; neither side is being completely forthright and will manipulate the truth for their own ends. There is no black and white resolution to the issue at hand, only shades of grey…and even the grey requires a discriminating eye to see the real truth.

Reversed: Illumination following deception. Truth is revealed, but with a price. Emotional withdrawal and disillusionment.
