Privacy and cookies
The short version: this site sets no cookies and carries no advertising trackers. Visits are counted by Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics, which needs no cookie and follows nobody from site to site. The only personal information here is what you type into the contact form yourself, and it goes to Tahmina.
Who you are dealing with
The Incidental Tarot is the personal practice of Tahmina, who reads the cards and records every reading herself. She is the one who decides what happens to anything you send, and the only person who reads your question.
What this site collects
Nothing, until you fill in the form on the contact page. That form asks for:
- your name;
- an email address, so the reading can be sent to you;
- a phone number, if you choose to give one — it is optional;
- which reading you want;
- your question, and anything else you want Tahmina to know.
You also tick a box to confirm you are 18 or older. There is no account to create, no newsletter you are signed up to behind your back, and no field that quietly records anything you did not type.
What happens with it
Your request is saved on the server that runs this site, which stands in France. The file is readable only by the account that runs the site. A short note that a request has arrived is sent over Telegram to Tahmina and to the person who looks after the technical side of the site; Telegram is used as the alert channel, so that message passes through their servers.
Tahmina then emails you — first with the payment link, later with the link to your recorded reading. Payment itself is handled by an outside payment provider: card details go to them and never reach this site.
Your question is never published, quoted or shown to anyone else. The recorded video is kept for 30 days and then deleted. The request itself is kept while the work is going on and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you write again about the same reading — and it is deleted whenever you ask.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social buttons — nothing that follows you from one site to the next. Nothing is stored on your device at all, which is why you are not asked to click a cookie banner: there is no consent to give.
Four things do happen, and it is only fair to name them:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Tahmina does want to know which pages people actually read, so the pages carry Cloudflare's privacy-first counter. It records the page visited, roughly where the visit came from, the country, and the kind of device and browser. It sets no cookie, does not fingerprint you and does not follow you to any other site; what shows up on our side is totals, not people.
- Server logs. Like every web server, this one writes down which page was asked for, when, and how the browser described itself. The logs are kept for about two weeks and are used to keep the site up and to see what broke when something breaks.
- Cloudflare, as the front door. The site is served through Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and filters out attacks. Cloudflare sees the connection and may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell a person from a bot. Nothing there profiles you on our behalf.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, so Google sees that request. It sets no cookie, but if that bothers you, a browser that blocks third-party requests will simply show the site in its fallback fonts.
What you can ask for
You can ask what is held about you, ask for a copy of it, ask for a mistake to be corrected, or ask for all of it to be deleted — including your question and the recorded reading. There is no form to fight with and no reason you need to give.
Write through the contact page, or simply reply to any email you have had from Tahmina. Deletion is done by hand, usually the same day and at the latest within a month.
Age
Readings are for adults: 18 or older. This site is not meant for children, and nothing here is aimed at them.
If this page changes
It changes if what the site does changes — if analytics or a payment widget ever appear here, they will be named on this page before they run. Last updated: 28 September 2026.
