This is a master of feelings, a wise psychologist, a diplomat and the ruler of the water element. A mature man who has reached complete emotional intelligence. He doesn't drown in feelings like the Page, and he doesn't rush off to save the world on a wave of bravado like the Knight. He doesn't hide his emotions — he gives off deep calm, wisdom and unconditional acceptance.
This is emotional maturity, deep inner calm, mercy, self-control, the ability to stay an observer through any storm. A person who understands his own and other people's motives perfectly well, but acts from love and peace.

He holds a cup in his hand — the symbol of feelings — and around his neck is a fish-shaped amulet — our link to the unconscious. In the background there’s a ship sailing on a calm sea and a leaping dolphin — a symbol of joy, rescue, harmony of the spirit. He sits on a massive throne that seems to float on the waves of a stormy ocean, yet under the throne everything is completely steady.
